Baggy Lamp is a collection of tabletop and floor lights. The bag shaped silhouette provides a soft and playful vibe. Baggy Lamp adds modern a touch and a pinch of unexpectedness to its environment.

“The idea behind the concept is to combine old style with new modern design.”

The design inspired from old potato sacks that are enclosed with a rope atop. The power cord that provides electricity is designed and attached at the top in a manner that would resemble a firmly tied rope.

Baggy Lamp won the Red Dot concept design award and A’ Design first prize award in 2016.”

The body of the lamp consists of frosted glass. The frost factor adds a mysterious and cool vibe to the design. Light bulb exchange is performed on the bottom part of the lamp that is open-ended and hollow cast.

The designer, Elnur Babayev, graduated from Industrial Design BFA major in METU/Turkey (2005). Babayev has received many local and international design awards, both in industrial and graphic design fields.
