“A product should not only be functional and aesthetically appealing but also evoke strong emotions.”

Design Objects is a tabletop collection that focuses on the exploration of materials, geometric proportions and technical functionality. The collection consists of a bowl, tray-box, lead-holder, x-stand, pen-pot, flui-weight, pen-case, and a wire-o. All items are hand finished with attention to detail and great craftsmanship.

“The collection consists of timeless materials such as brass, copper, aluminum, polished maple wood, and vegetable tan leather.”

The collection of objects have a minimal aesthetic. Every ıtem has a geometric form that serves to function. The leather pen-case is crafted using origami in leather as opposed to traditional stitching, to portray the material as a pure and minimalist entity to store pens / pencils.

The wooden fluid-weight explores the tactile experience one gets with the oscillatory character of the weight which transforms viewing into perceiving.

The pen-pot is designed to separate things by type - pens and paper clips. Copper container can be placed aside so that the wooden pot can be acquired for filling small objects. They can be stacked for compact storage projecting meaningful adaptability.

“We believe in discussing and developing an idea into a design which will justify to human sensibilities.”

At Deniable Studio, the designers are on constant lookout to explore and exploit the potential of raw materials with respect to their color, scale, texture and behavior; alongside the craftsmanship and necessary manufacturing methods required to bring out all these properties to the fore.
